I'm rather annoyed. This morning I went downstairs. I was late already so my dad said I might as well just be later so I could get some breakfast (I was sick again this week, Sunday-Tuesday and Thursday. Joy!) so I don't pass out. So I'm just sitting, minding my own business, eating PB Cap'n Crunch, when I spy a newspaper. Do you know what was on the front page of that newspaper, at the very top?

What. The. Crap!? Since when is that suckish, horrific movie (go ahead and flame me, I'm just being honest) more important than the H1N1 virus epidemic, the health care issue, the economy crisis, and the flippin' shooting at Pine Plains!? Rrg! And JUST to get this clear, YES, I've read Twilight and New Moon and I saw Twilight, too. So I'm not rambling blindly. New Moon (the "novel") was an absolutely sickening disgrace of a piece of literature, term used loosely. I mean come ON, it's 300 (give or take) pages of her whining about how Edward dumped her, doing suicidal stunts because apparently that somehow helps her see him again (what the hell?) and getting a really lame crush on Shark Boy-- err, her best friend who is, of course, a werewolf. I don't even see how they could possibly get an even vaguely interesting movie out of that, in which the plot twist wasn't given away in the trailer. OH WAIT, it was. WHAT is up with that hogwash? I mean I have seen some crappy movies in the past (ie- The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Facing the Giants, Dragon Ball Evolution...), but this simply as an idea has got to take the cake. I'm not sure if I want to even bother seeing it. I actually did "have" to see Twilight for an English project (cos Swan's class is awesome and I did a project on vampire films over the years), but I really have no motivation to see New Moon. Maybe if it's one day on the Craptastic Fail Movies Channel, I'll catch a few minutes of it... Sorry, I just hate dissing something that I have no clue about it And I'm a rather curious person, which is one of the reasons I saw DBE. And for the record, DBE sucked more than Twilight. Well that's a completely different rant that I believe I have already made.
